Patrick Marshall grew up in New Iberia Parish, Louisiana. The son of sharecroppers, from the age of ten he worked planting sugarcane and picking peppers, helping to make ends meet. His family raised chickens and hogs and these humble beginnings taught him a strong work ethic.

Patrick has served in the U. S. Army, the Army National Guard and U.S. Marines during a 22 year career. He is an author and an inventor. Patrick is also a patented inventor (5,947,121) and is listed in the Black Hall of Fame, located in Washington, DC. He is also listed as one of Louisiana’s famous inventors. Patrick attributes his success to the strong family values instilled in him at an early age and to his faith in G-d.
